He defeated Curtis Dornath and Steve Anderson in a 3 way match.   Jerry 206 Curtis 198 Steve 155.  Jerry bowled steady all day on a modified lane condition. Carey Hofmann was High Qualifier with a plus 120. The cut was  minus 25.              The tournament was held at R H Johnson Lanes and it drew 23 entries.
